So far, I'm pleased with it. Handy. Easy to use. Compact. Meets my basic needs. I'll be using it for the first time during an upcoming trek.

I bought this because my previous magnetic flashlight bit the dust finally. I like to keep one or two on the refrigerator in the kitchen, so they are quick and easy to find in a power outage. (Then I can use that one to look for all the others in drawers, and closets and under furniture, LOL). I do not want to pay the premium price for a rechargeable flashlight; I just want to stick it up and forget it, until I need it. This light is acceptably bright. The magnets are more than strong enough to hold it on the refrigerator. The swivel base means that instead of sticking straight out, it's neatly horizontal along the refrigerator surface. There were NO problems with the switch, which switches both off and on perfectly. We're heading into weather in my area and if you need a handy magnetic flashlight, this is a great choice.

For me, the perfect work light, especially for close, dark work areas. Not a flashlight. Not a 360° area light that blinds you as a work light.Pros:- Small and very light without being weightless.- Simple control . . . push button on/off.- Bright, wide beam lights up close, dark work spaces without blinding.- 360° Rotating hook . . . can (eg) usefully hang on a t-shirt neck. Hook rotates to store in a case recess so no snagging when not in use..- Rubberized, 90° rotating base provides additional stability on sloping/uneven (non-metallic) surfaces.- Base magnets are strong, not too strong. 90° rotating base allows flexible positioning on metallic surfaces.Cons:- One brightness level . . . but it's a very useful one.- No idea of battery life.- No idea about durability, but it has the right feel.
